Did you know Roses hold many health benefits???

Roses are vitamin enriched. It contains Vitamin A, B, C, D, and E. They also contain antioxidants
so they're great for making rose water and using as an antibacterial for many skin issues like sunburns, eczema, and Psoriasis. I always turn to my rose water mist when i wake with blotchy redness on my face and it immediately soothes!

You can add rose petals to your steamy hot bath water as a decongestant to help open up your nasal passages and sinuses. Plus it smells great too!

Rose petals are also a great anti-inflammatory! Pick some dark red petals and place in a Tupperware and pour in hot water; cover with lid and let it sit. Place a couple of petals on your puffy under eyes for about 15-20min to cool and soothe that area.

To make your own rose water; simply boil the rose petals on a stove top pour into a spray bottle and keep it chilled. You can now use it as a skin toner as well and keep that skin hydrated!

I hope this has helped enlighten your creativity on natural at home skin care. And if you chose to buy rose water mists just make sure its natural and doesn't have all those added chemicals that can defeat the purpose!

Stay Beautiful and until next time:)

Thoughts within...

Beauty is the child within. To be able to laugh uncontrollably at anything and not pay mind to the odd looks. Be yourself and embrace it because only then others are able to appreciate and see the beauty as well and most likely they will be laughing along with you!

Hair Protection is a Must!!

I am loving Graham Webb's 'Heat Response' soft finish spray heat protectant! It can be used for both blow dry and flat iron! Simply spray before styling. It doesn't leave hair greasy or stiff like other protectants I've tried! I am also loving the added shine effect I get from it leaving my hair looking strong and healthy!

At home skincare

Today is mask day. A very much needed mud mask indeed. Mud masks help improve our complexion and skin tone while giving moisture to the skin. I love removing it and seeing my skin looks brand new. This is my go to type mask when i need a picker upper! Our at home skin care is vital to keeping those ugly blemishes away. Exfoliating weekly and having a facial done at least once a month is very beneficial yet what is most important is keeping those results by practicing good follow up care at home. Trying a mask weekly can help tremendously!

What does Beauty mean...

What does beauty mean to you? Is it the color of hair? Is it the outfit worn?
Is it the perfect makeup application? Is it the outside appearance?
Beauty means more than what the physical portrays.
It means kindness, good intention, helping, loving, forgiving traits that come only from within. Beauty i believe is who you are and not what you look like.
Its the ability to see the best in others. I believe that regardless of what face, body, or hair you were born with if the inside is rotten it takes away from that.
To me every one is beautiful but only if they have the heart to be.
